Born in Buenos Aires to a traditional Jewish family, Yardén studied in diverse Batei Midrash and Jewish academic institutions both in Israel and in Argentina, where he also served in various positions at Conservative communities until he made Aliya in 2012. Yardén has an M.A. in Talmud and Ancient Jewish Studies at Tel Aviv University, where he also worked as a researcher of ancient Jewish writings from the Cairo Genizah. In addition, he is currently completing his rabbinical ordination at the Schechter Institutes of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem (tentative ordination date: September 2018) and has been a faculty member at the Conservative Yeshiva since 2015. He lives in Jerusalem with his wife and their two children.
